apply for The American Express Rewards Gold Card and up to five
additional Cards with no annual fee for the first year. These

Membership
Rewards(2)
One of
the world's most recognized rewards program. You will earn
one Membership Rewards point for virtually every dollar you spend
on the Card, and redeem them for a rich array of rewards, from worldwide
travel and dinners at exclusive restaurants to cash credits to your
Card account (3).
Points have no expiration date and there is no limit to the number
of points you can earn.
Travel Accident
Insurance(4)
When you
travel on a Carrier Conveyance (plane, bus, train or ship) and charge
your ticket fare to The Rewards Gold Card, you and your Additional
Cardmembers will be automatically covered with a Travel Accident
Insurance for up to US$250,000 at no additional cost.
Car Rental
Loss and Damage Insurance(5)
Remember,
when you rent a car using The Rewards Gold Card, you do not have
to accept the insurance that the rental company offers you because
you already have rental car insurance that covers you against damage
and theft. This coverage, besides being automatic, is at no
cost to you.
The American
Express Rewards Gold Card has no preset spending limit(6)
which gives you purchasing power that adjusts with your use of the
Card.

the first year, the annual fee is US$165 for The Basic Card and
US$35 for up to five Additional Cards. After the first five
Additional Cards, the annual fee will be US$35 for each Additional
Card. Approval subject to credit review. This promotion
is valid until February 29, 2008.

in the program, a Card account must be issued by American Express.
There is no annual fee for The Rewards Gold Card program.
